Open Plan Program 【Features】
Katoh Gakuen Gyoshu Elementary School was founded as the first open school in Japan.
The philosophy of the open plan program places importance on respect for the child’s individual talent and personalizes instruction to meet the needs of each student. This program aims to cultivate positive attitudes in children and enable them to acquire the solid academic performance built upon the thorough understanding by actively employing instruction with concrete and hands-on activities.
It features independent and unconstrained education which cultivates each student’s ability through the developmental activities.
This program is commonly called the “Regular Class” in our school.
